Our Story
Since 1969, Agape has provided a residential facility for women recovering from alcoholism and other addictions. Agape’s three large Victorian houses in Knoxville, Tennessee, can accommodate up to 24 residents.
Agape is a residential therapeutic community staffed 24 hours a day by certified substance abuse counselors and client service personnel.
Residents also have access to a broad range of services from community agencies and from mental health professionals who periodically conduct in-house seminars in a variety of specialized areas.
Agape receives financial support from United Way, other state and federal sources, and private donations.
